Where can I buy bangles and bracelets online in India?

Saloni Fashion Jewellery, a Mumbai fashion and imitation jewellery brand with a showroom in Santacruz West, has over 70 bangles and bracelets in this collection: bangle sets, silver-plated kadas, charm bracelets and a few openable bracelets in kundan, pearl, crystal, gold-plated and silver-plated finishes. They are fashion jewellery in plated brass or alloy, not solid gold, with free shipping across India, dispatch in 1-2 days and delivery in 4-15 days.

Bangle, bracelet or kada?

Bangles are thin and worn in sets, usually several to an arm. A kada is broad and worn singly or in a pair. A bracelet has a clasp or opening, which makes it the easiest to size and the most practical for daily wear.

How do I get the size right?

Indian bangle sizes run from 2.4 to 2.10 and are listed on each product page. If sizing is uncertain — particularly for gifting — choose an openable kada or an adjustable bracelet instead.

How do I measure my bangle size at home?

Bring your thumb across to touch your little finger, as if slipping a bangle on, and measure around the widest part of that closed hand with a tape or a strip of paper. Divide the measurement in centimetres by 8. A hand measuring about 20 cm is roughly a 2.6; about 21.5 cm is roughly a 2.8. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger — a bangle that will not pass the knuckle is unwearable, while a slightly loose one still sits fine.

Will bangles leave a green mark on my wrist?

Occasionally, and it is harmless. The base metal is brass, which contains copper, and copper can react with sweat to leave a temporary green tint — most likely in humid weather or if a bangle is worn continuously for days. It washes off. Taking bangles off overnight and keeping them dry prevents it in most cases.

How many bangles are worn at once?

There is no fixed rule, but a stack of four to six per arm is the usual festive choice, and brides often wear considerably more, alternating broad kundan bangles with plain plated ones. For daily or office wear, two bangles or a single kada is the more common look.

Can retailers order in bulk?
